During a convivial event held on 15th June 2022, the company humbly announced that we are again pleased to partner with 8 NGOs to deploy Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes in an array of social and environmental areas to improve the lives of deprived people and to shield more the environment. This year, we have doubled our contribution to the funding of CSR activities to accelerate the implementation of social and environmental activities.
Indeed, we have always spared no effort to support CSR activities because we believe in an ecosystem which promotes economic prosperity alongside a healthy society in which social scourges such as poverty, drug addiction and juvenile delinquency as well as environmental pollution are wiped out.
During the event, we also shared with the NGO’s representatives that we have invested in the installation of a 1 MW PV solar farm which will produce around 15% of our total energy consumption. The use of renewable energy sources is one of the cruxes of our environmental management strategy to attain carbon neutrality by 2040.
