At RT Knits, sustainability is part of our DNA. As a player of the textile industry, we understand our immense responsibility in supporting the environment, its people and the community in which we evolve. This ideology is translated in who we are, what we do and what we aim to be.

During the last two decades, we have implemented several projects aimed at moving towards a more sustainable textile production. However, we believe that sustainability when embedded at the source gets cascaded throughout the whole organisation more successfully. In 2017, RT Knits formulated its long term environmental strategy, RT EMS, encompassing all activities undertaken by the organisation. RT EMS focuses on 2025, with a vision to “lead the way in responsible textile production” and is based on 6 priority areas that form the foundation of our environmental mission. From sourcing of raw materials to the end-product, we are committed to long term goals for every core activity in our value chain.
