The greenhouse hydroponic system at RT Knits promotes more responsible and healthy agricultural practices among its employees. Currently, tomatoes are grown hydroponically. Harvesting is carried out every three or four days. The tomatoes are then offered to employees.
Hydroponic farming was among the eight best ideas selected during the “Eco Olympics” in 2018. This campaign was launched to promote pro-environmental behaviours among the RT family.
