HR Assistant

Assist the HR Officer for various HR tasks: Recruitment/ Welfare/ Transport Management and other duties assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handles all HR administrative duties: drafting of letters, testimonials, transfer letters, amongst others;
  • Maintains a proper filing system for HR documentation;
  • Assists in the full recruitment cycle and employee on-boarding;
  • Develops job profiles for all positions of the company;
  • Conducts regular feedback sessions with new joiners and employees;
  • Assists in overseeing the full performance management cycle;
  • Assists in providing data for HR Metrics;
  • Acts as advisor to employees and HoDs on HR related matters;
  • Assists in the organisation and conduct of training;
  • Liaises with relevant authorities / bodies for relevant HR matters: YEP Programme, Ministry, HRDC etc;
  • Is responsible for the planning and organisation of employee well-being activities;
  • Participates in the write-up and review of HR Policies and Procedures.

Desired Education & Experience

  • Diploma in Human Resources Management or any relavant fields
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the HR field
  • Good knowledge of Mauritian Labour Legislations
